Kaysone PHOMVIHAN’s concept on Transforming National Economic Components

Abstract

The main significant objective of Kaysone PHOMVIHAN’s conceptualized research on national economic structure transformation is to investigate four main concepts of Kaysone PHOMMVIHAN on national economic structure including economic component, sectional economy, regional economy, and foreign cooperative economy’s concepts. This study is implemented based on investigating the books, speeches, and statements written by Kaysone PHOMVIHAN and then the related concepts are consolidated into a concrete, inspirational and practical concepts.

Based on the actual exploration on Kaysone PHOMVIHAN’s concepts on transforming national economic components, it can reflect the inspirational vision of Kaysone PHOMVIHAN’s concepts on economic components during the state reform based on socialist ideology in Lao PDR; the concepts can reflect the concrete contents and objectives of economic development and productive development. These economic development concepts indicate the suitably selective and reinforced processes in using the techniques and economic components which are compatible with the actual situation of the country. The concepts demonstrate that the Marxist-Leninist theory is creatively and compatibly used in the actual development situation of the country.

While the country has been encountering the economic hardship and the international situation has been rapidly and complicatedly changed, it is necessary to have a comprehensive and deep knowledge on implying Kaysone PHOMVIHAN’s concept in reforming economic components and structure. The concepts can contribute to reinforce and strengthen the economic infrastructure, components and development in the new revolutionary period. All forces and resources will be completely enhanced and strengthened in the national protection and development mission If Kaysone PHOMVIHAN’s concepts on economic development are broadly, creatively and correctively implied. This can also contribute to strengthening national development, people’s living condition, harmonized society, democracy, justice and civilization.
