Challenges on Communication between Savannakhet University and Project Partners within Country and Abroad: Effective Communication

Abstract

This research is to evaluate the effective communication (EC) of administrators and
relations employees for Savannahkhet University; to analyze the relationship and results
between the relationship factors to EC; to compare the differences of international
cooperation projects, Memorandum of Understanding, Memorandum of Agreement, self-
sought cooperation between gender, age, qualifications, work experience and experience of
working in cooperation. This research is mixed between quantitative and qualitative method,
using a questionnaire as a research tool. The sample used is 49 SKU’s administrators and
relations employees. The data is analyzed by using Excel and SPSS program together, with
statistical methods including mean (X ̅ ), standard deviation (S.D), coefficient of variation
(CV), and Simple Regression Analysis (SRA).
The results: 1.The EC within country and abroad has the least cooperation and
implementation with an overall average value ( X ̅ : 0.48); 2. The factor of the perception of
cooperation of each individual with personal behavior is highly correlated at the level of
8.448, which has a direct relationship between the various factors, the more the perception
of cooperation of the individual is related to the behavior, the P-value>0.05; The factor of
Communication Technology with Communication Technology Structure has a low
correlation value of -0.292, which is not directly related with P-value>0.05. 3. Among the
studied groups taking into account gender, age, work experience and experience of working
in cooperation, there is an overall average level of opinion about EC at a high level when
comparing between these groups, within the group, there is no statistical difference in the
level of opinion about EC tasks (sig.>0.05).
