Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the level of factors that affect the academic performance of undergraduate students of the National University and to compare the level of factors that affect the academic achievement of undergraduate students of the National University with different personalities. The sample used in this study was undergraduate students of 13 faculties, 1,300 samples, data collection tools were questionnaires, data analysis using SPSS for Window software. The statistical values ​​used in the analysis were frequency distribution, percentage retrieval, averaging, and standard deviation, and the hypothesis test which used t-test and F-test when differences were found, used LSD or Scheffe with a significance of 0.05

            The results of the study showed that the sample group in this study was mostly female, with 610 students or 53.07%, most of them were 4th year with 354 students or 27.23%, most of the students had an average grade of 3.00-3.49 with 335 students or 42.89%, the average monthly income was less than 500,000 kip with 399 or 43.04%. Living with parents is 358 people or 27.5% and the distance from home to university is 1-5 km with 725 or 55.8%. The level of opinion on the factors that affect the overall learning of students in all aspects is moderate. When considered in detail, it is found that there are three factors that affect the level of learning at many levels: the policy of the university, the curriculum, the teaching and teaching techniques. The other five factors that affect learning at the intermediate level are the learning behaviors of students, economically, socially, family and environmentally. Students of different genders, faculties, grades, cumulative grade points and average monthly income had different opinions on the factors that affect their study: 3 aspects, 8 aspects, 6 aspects and 4 aspects, respectively.
