Career Expectations of National University of Laos Students after Graduation

Abstract

       The purpose of this research were 1) to study the career decision making of undergraduate students, National University of Laos after graduation, 2) to find the level of factors that affecting the career decision making of undergraduate students, National University of Laos distinguished by organization, family and relationship with friends, and 3) to study the correlation between the career decision making to personal factors, family factors and motivational factors that affecting the career decision making in 3 aspects: organization, family and relationship with friends. This research was survey research by collected 995 sample of the 4th year undergraduate students of National University of Laos. The research instrument used in collecting the data was a questionnaire.

       The results found that the expected career after graduation of the year 4 students, National University of Laos is to work as a government employee, 466 people students equal 46.8% and it is the same as the needs of the father, mother or guardian of the students who want the students to work as government employees, 542 people equal 54.5%. In overall, the level of opinion on the career decision making of the undergraduate students of the National University of Laos distinguished by organization, family and relationship with friends were strongly agree all aspects X=3.77, SD = 0.49. Expected occupation of the students to the faculty, hometown, grade point average, the father, mother or guardian's occupation were correlated while the average monthly income of the family was not correlated. The expected occupation of the students to the career decision making factors in 3 aspects have correlated in overall while the expected occupation of the students to the organization and the relationship with friends have not correlated. For the expected occupation of the students to the family have correlated at statical significance level of 0.05.

ການສຶກສາກ່ຽວກັບ ຄວາມຄາດຫວັງໃນການປະກອບອາຊີບຂອງນັກສຶກສາມະຫາວິທະຍາໄລແຫ່ງຊາດພາຍຫຼັງຮຽນ ຈົບ ມີຈຸດປະສົງ: (1) ເພື່ອສຶກສາການຕັດສິນໃຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບ ຂອງນັກສຶກສາລະດັບປະລິນຍາຕີມະຫາວິທະຍາໄລ ແຫ່ງຊາດພາຍຫຼັງຮຽນຈົບ, (2) ເພື່ອສຶກສາລະດັບປັດໄຈທີ່ມີຜົນຕໍ່ການຕັດສິນໃຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບ ຂອງນັກສຶກສາລະ ດັບປະລິນຍາຕີມະຫາວິທະຍາໄລແຫ່ງຊາດໂດຍຈໍາແນກຕາມດ້ານອົງກອນ, ດ້ານຄວາມສາພັນກັບຄອບຄົວ ແລະ ດ້ານຄວາມ ສໍາພັນກັບຫມູ່ເພື່ອນ ແລະ (3) ເພື່ອສຶກສາຄວາມສໍາພັນລະຫວ່າງການຕັດສິນໃຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບກັບປັດໄຈສ່ວນບຸກຄົນ, ປັດໄຈຄອບຄົວ ແລະ ປັດໄຈທີ່ມີຜົນຕໍ່ການຕັດສິນໃຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບໃນ 3 ດ້ານຄື: ດ້ານອົງກອນ, ດ້ານຄວາມສໍາພັນ ກັບຄອບຄົວ ແລະ ດ້ານຄວາມສໍາພັນກັບຫມູ່ເພື່ອນ. ການສຶກສາຄັ້ງນີ້ເປັນການຄົ້ນຄວ້າແບບສໍາຫຼວດ, ກຸ່ມຕົວຢ່າງແມ່ນນັກສຶກ ສາປະລິນຍາຕີ ຊັ້ນປີທີ 4 ຂອງມະຫາວິທະຍາໄລແຫ່ງຊາດ ຈໍານວນ 995 ຄົນ ໂດຍໃຊ້ແບບສອບຖາມເປັນເຄື່ອງມືໃນການ ເກັບລວບລວມຂໍ້ມູນ.

     ຜົນການສຶກສາພົບວ່າ: ອາຊີບທີ່ຄາດຫວັງເມື່ອຮຽນຈົບຂອງນັກສຶກສາປະລິນຍາຕີ ຊັ້ນປີທີ 4 ມະຫາວິທະຍາໄລແຫ່ງ ຊາດ ແມ່ນຕ້ອງການປະກອບອາຊີບເປັນພະນັກງານລັດ ຈໍານວນ 466 ຄົນ ຄິດເປັນ 46.8 ສ່ວນຮ້ອຍ ແລະ ກໍ່ຄືກັນກັບຄວາມ ຕ້ອງການຂອງພໍ່, ແມ່ ຫຼື ຜູ້ປົກຄອງຂອງນັກສຶກສາ ທີ່ຕ້ອງການໃຫ້ນັກສຶກສາປະກອບອາຊີບເປັນພະນັກງານລັດ ຈໍານວນ 542 ຄົນ ຄິດເປັນ 54.5 ສ່ວນຮ້ອຍ. ລະດັບປັດໄຈທີ່ມີຜົນຕໍ່ການຕັດສິນໃຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບຂອງນັກສຶກສາ ໂດຍຈໍາແນກ ຕາມດ້ານອົງກອນ, ດ້ານຄວາມສາພັນກັບຄອບຄົວ ແລະ ດ້ານຄວາມສາພັນກັບຫມູ່ເພື່ອນ ໂດຍລວມໃນທຸກດ້ານຢູ່ໃນລະດັບ ເຫັນດີຫຼາຍ ( X = 3.77 ແລະ SD = 0.49 ). ອາຊີບຄາດຫວັງຂອງນັກສຶກສາຕໍ່ກັບຄະນະທີ່ຮຽນ, ພູມລໍາເນົາ, ເກຣດ ສະເລ່ຍ, ອາຊີບພໍ່, ແມ່ ຫຼື ຜູ້ປົກຄອງຄາດຫວັງ ມີຄວາມສໍາພັນກັນ, ສ່ວນລາຍໄດ້ສະເລ່ຍຕໍ່ເດືອນຂອງຄອບຄົວບໍ່ມີຄວາມສໍາ ພັນກັນ; ອາຊີບຄາດຫວັງຂອງນັກສຶກສາຕໍ່ ປັດໄຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບໃນ 3 ດ້ານ ໂດຍລວມມີຄວາມສໍາພັນກັນ, ໃນນັ້ນ ອາຊີບຄາດຫວັງຕໍ່ກັບປັດໄຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບດ້ານອົງກອນ ແລະ ດ້ານຄວາມສໍາພັນກັບຫມູ່ເພື່ອນບໍ່ມີຄວາມສໍາພັນກັນ,ສ່ວນອາຊີບຄາດຫວັງກັບປັດໄຈເລືອກປະກອບອາຊີບດ້ານຄວາມສໍາພັນກັບຄອບຄົວມີຄວາມສໍາພັນກັນ ດ້ວຍລະດັບຄວາມສໍາຄັນທາງສະຖິຕິ 0.05.
